MS Ambassador
Presentation Station

This is the start of a collection of on-line MS Ambassador Presentations. These are all available from any Internet connected PC. They will work with all the major browsers.

Each Presentation is a HTML file (that would normally be what makes up a WEB page) and contains all that is required to emulate the more traditional Presentation Software, It reacts much faster as all of the presentation is loaded into memory before each show is commenced.

This results in a Multimedia capable presentation with your choice of up to date:

• graphics,
• news,
• video or
• audio that is fast to load and intuitive to present.

Moving through the presentation can be achieved using the Keyboard (arrow keys ← and →). the [Spacebar], the mouse or specially designed "hidden" navigation keys.

First Trial of Powerpoint Conversions

I have completed two of the presentations so far. I took a break for vision repair, although it only partially worked.... :(

The conversion from Power Point slides into the new Template is not all that difficult, just time consuming (especially as the vision sux),

Although the site "WAS" down for scheduled maintenance earlier today... I can hardly complain considering it has been very good and is full of useful tools..........

The latest start page is: HERE

The presentation template is the culmination of some research and it hails from multiple sources:

The Original S5 Slideshow came via Eric A. Meyer of www.meyerweb.com and Jeffrey Zeldman amongst others. thanks to all !

I then added some additional code and undertook some editing:

Additions:

1 - toggle Javascript: Now cross browser, this allows the display of any element to be toggled as on or off. Very handy for custom pop-ups etc.

2 - Dynamic Stylesheet Swapping. Also now cross browser.
This allows for the presenter to immediately and easily change the stylesheet. This includes the ability to change any element on the page, immediately and painlessly. Stylesheets may change: color. type-style. graphics. layout, text-size..... anything you wish.

The distribution of the final release product will be Floppy Disk, CD and the Internet. These will be in Windows Format. Apple Macintosh, Lynx and others are all supported via the Internet using any Industry Standards based browser.

The Internet Releases will be secured using .htaccess user name and password combinations to selected "rotating" directories.

Results in:

• Any PC, connected to the NET or NOT, Anywhere, Anytime.
• Faster than traditional presentation methods and software.
• Modular design. (un breakable images. last minute changes)
• Leading Edge. Attention Grabbing use of Technology.
